Well don't know thought about it again and I guess you are partially right satisfaction is in many cases the same as happines.
But I guess that is, at the same time an, explanation why the majority of people is unhappy, to say unsatisfied.
Because the lack of something that would provide satisfaction ,and desire, are forcing powers that enable man to think of new ideas, new concepts, to move on.
These enable just the progress, if every human being had been happy from the very beginning we'd have probably been extinct already.

But in addition, I think you can also be satisfied without being happy, by changing down your expactations to a very low level.
I guess this might even be the counterpart to happiness as it indicates that you've been abandoned by hope and that optimism has died...

When my brother turned 13 I initiated a rite to celebrate his boyhood entry, therefore I downloaded 2 girls 1 cup, told him that nowadays every boy has to watch that if he wants to become a man and left the room^^
Hopefully this wasn't the cause for any prospective sexual abnormal preference^^

What the hell did you enter to get that result?

Another related thing, is if you enable speech recognition auto writing on your windows and only english language support is installed but you talk German there also are hilarious sentences being generated.
I once wondered about making an avant-garde poem out of such a text.

True. But I thought that I saw all... The funniest thing is that I can't even imagine what weird stuff is out there. And I got pretty good imagination :)

Oh yes, 2 girls... I will not watch it. I once stumbled upon a forum thread with text descriptions of the most disgusting videos. I felt "uneasy" just after reading it. So, I guess, that would be enough :)

Well I think actual definition of happiness, as by neurology, is the co-incidential release of dopamine and serotonine (flow-experience) or endorphines.
But I wouldn't call that happiness but the more euphoria.
And euphoria is perishable. I may be naive in believing in steady happines, but just like a counterpart to a depression. Not that hyperactive feeling of euphoria. But when you've once reached a point where you could say, now everything could remain as it is and I would have no problems with time stopping right now, causing this moment to last forever.

I must admit that I haven't watched the clip yet.
But the highlight is the host's name Vilayanur Ramachandran, sounds as if he would also be a well skilled kwik-e mart vendor, sorry for OT.

That phallus comparison is funny never regarded it this way.
But I guess one thing I disagree with; human life is supposed to be the object with the highest value, but I have certain doubts on that.
If a group of people saw a person being injured and bleeding, of course they would call the ambulance. But not because of the high value of life but of their (un)guilty conscious, and cause there are other people present who would witness it if no one helped.
But in this country there have been several cases of teenagers beating old persons to death, in the subway tunnels and nobody helped.

And globally regarded are we living off the ressources of starving people from 3rd World Countries, that are exploited for our greed's sake.

So one should request what the real object of the highest value nowadays is...

Somewhat like Hebrew or arabian, they're consonant alphabets. So it's bit similar to Japanese.

"So, how can it be in my head if I only feel it when seeing the outside world?"

I think that our ideas of perception, reality and the dimensions is yet pretty incomplete.

I mean maybe Synaesthesia is only a malfunction of a particular Filter in our System.

Same thing goes with LSD-25 who acts as a selective 5ht²-Receptor agonist, and on experimental layered psychology they were able to effect pre-natal psycho diagnostics, so to say they tapped their parts of their brains were in-utero memories were saved.
So I guess science stumbles yet through the dark in various great areas.
